Dear Friends,

Joni here... I have some news that is difficult for me to tell you. I am closing down Mystic Moon Bookstore. It has become too much for me to keep it going and so it will be officially closed as of 12/29/11. I have so enjoyed having Mystic Moon as a place to meet all of you and as a gathering place for everyone to come to for classes, readings, products and to share spiritual experiences. I have learned so much from all of you and want to thank you for your patronage and friendship. Moving on can be difficult, but I know that "when a door closes, a window opens", so I am looking for my next "open window." :)

I will still be offering Personal Readings - in person, by phone or by email. I use Tarot and Angel cards and I channel what I call "celestial beings", and best of all I will be charging my usual "$1 per minute". Please feel free to contact me at:

I just returned from the most wonderful experience ever!!! I went on the Dolphon Cruise hosted by Cynthia Williams and Ellen Solart, where we saw Dolphins, Sea Lions, Whales and all sorts of wonderful sea birds. It was something that I will never forget. Every person on the trip was also working through and healing "transition events" in their lives. It was wonderful to share together, as well as, to have the expertise of Cynthia and Ellen for internal work. I will be forever thankful for this life changing experience!

On another note, today at Mystic Moon we have Rick here from 1:00-4:00 giving his accurate and expansive Astrology and Tarot readings. He is reading at our special summer rate of $1 per minute. Come on over and see us at "the Moon"!!

Guardian Angels

Your Guardian Angels are around you 24/7. They are here to personally help you in all areas of your life. One thing that I call upon my Guardian Angel for is to help me get a difficult message to another person. For example, I had a family member who was angry with me and I wanted to "make up" but knew that a person-to-person confrontation was not what I wanted to do. Saturday 2/19/11 – LAST MINUTE SURPRISES!! We will be offering FREE 1-card Angel Readings ALL DAY with Joan Marie!!

We also have Raia available for Ancient Egyptian Healings from Noon-3:00pm. It is a one-of-a-kind unique experience!! Cost $100 per hour.

Lau Tzu is the author of the Tao Te Ching. But he also wrote and stated many things. His view of love:

“Love is of all passions the strongest, for it attacks simultaneously the head, the heart and the senses.”

As a teacher of maintaining balance, to do our work and then walk away, he can easily sum up strong feelings with a single statement. When you are with the one you love, and you feel intoxicated with pleasure, warmth of the heart, and chills down your back, then you realize the feelings summed up in this statement.

I want to thank our friend Jessica for posting this wonderful quote on Facebook!! I love it!

Love is definitely an adventure... but so compelling. I sometimes wonder that we tread ever so carefully into relationships at all! They can be so confusing and wonderful and terrible all in the same moment! And what an opportunity to "work on yourself"! Argh! How much more work can I possibly do! Oh, that's right... we are never really done. I will just "keep on keeping on" then. Smiles to you all!

Show others how much you care for them; not only because you think they need to hear, witness, or deserve it, but because it feels so freeing to express the soul's inner light, which is constantly seeking any excuse to shine if you'll let it.

So stop thinking of others and think a little bit about yourself by telling someone close to you how much you care for them!
